Stoic Foundation recently held its inaugural event, marking a significant milestone for the organisation. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees whose engagement and insights on sustainability contributed to an unforgettable evening.
A special acknowledgement goes to our esteemed panelists, Ulf Ekberg and Habib Paracha, who travelled to Hong Kong to participate in this vital discussion. Ulf's journey into environmental advocacy has been shaped by his experiences as a musician and entrepreneur. As a founding member of Ace of Base, he achieved significant success in the music industry, which provided him with a platform to promote awareness of sustainability and social issues. His involvement in creating the Happy Nation album, which emphasises unity and environmental consciousness themes, further underscores his commitment to these causes.

In his address, Habib detailed his sustainable journey, which began with the catastrophic floods in Pakistan that profoundly affected him. This pivotal experience fostered a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental issues within him. It ignited a passion for creating change, leading him to leverage his skills as a film producer to raise awareness about urgent climate challenges. His production of the award-winning short film "The Perfect Shot: Antarctica" exemplifies this commitment, as it addresses critical climate change issues and highlights the importance of environmental stewardship. Habib's diverse experiences in film production, combined with his dedication to social causes, have equipped him with a unique perspective that he shared during the event. His insights not only reflect his personal journey but also inspire others to engage in meaningful action for a sustainable future.
