Supporting Musicus Society Hong Kong as Part of Our ESG Commitment
Alongside our climate initiatives, we identify and support organisations that demonstrate strong ESG impact across social and cultural domains. As part of this, STOIC Foundation recently made a donation to Musicus Society Hong Kong, a registered charity that advances quality music education, cross-cultural collaborations, and opportunities for home-grown artists.
On 8 November 2025, our CEO, Anthony Huang, attended the Musicus Society gala dinner. The event provided insight into how Musicus Society empowers young individuals—offering them not only hope but also a genuine stage to perform, gain experience, and be fully included in the arts community. Musicus Society was founded in 2010 to become an international music organisation distinguished by high-calibre performances and the development of world-class local artists. The Society is a Hong Kong-registered charity with the Hon. Tung Chee-hwa serving as Honorary Patron.
The mission of Musicus Society centres on promoting cross-cultural collaboration in music—linking leading Hong Kong and overseas artists through a variety of performances and programmes. Its four major initiatives include Musicus Fest, Musicus Heritage, Musicus Inspires!, and Musicus Soloists Hong Kong, all designed to nurture Hong Kong’s emerging talent and cultivate a vibrant, inclusive cultural scene.
The Musicus Society gala dinner was an inspiring occasion, giving us the opportunity to witness first-hand the positive outcomes of the Society’s work. Guests enjoyed outstanding live performances led by Artistic Director Trey Lee and his fellow musicians, showcasing the Society’s commitment to artistry and educational outreach.
Our donation will directly support Musicus Society’s ongoing efforts to expand music education and performance opportunities for more young people across Hong Kong. This partnership reflects our continuing commitment to support organisations that deliver clear social value as part of our ESG mandate.
